How We Rate

This page explains how information on verywell-slots.com is gathered and checked. It covers our sources, the points we compare, and the limits of what we do. The aim is that you can see where each fact comes from.

Where the information comes from

Every page is built from documents the operator publishes. We do not rely on memory, forum posts or third-party summaries for facts such as limits or wagering.

  • The operator's own website and its game lobby
  • Bonus terms and conditions for each offer
  • The general terms and conditions
  • Payment and withdrawal pages
  • The licence register entry for the stated licence

Where a page quotes a figure, it should match one of these sources at the time of checking.

What we check and why it matters in the UK

Each point below affects what a player in Great Britain actually experiences. We look at them in the same order on every page.

We note the licensing body, the licence number and the named operator, then compare them with the register. A player in GB should know which regulator stands behind a site and whether it is accepting UK players. Our page on licence and safety shows how this looks in practice.

A headline percentage says little on its own. We record the wagering multiple, minimum deposit, maximum bet while wagering, expiry period and whether a promo code is needed. For example, a welcome offer with 40x wagering and a 7-day expiry is a very different proposition from one with no wagering.

We list deposit and withdrawal methods, supported currencies, minimum deposits and withdrawals, and daily, weekly or monthly caps. We also record stated processing times and note when extra verification can extend them. See the withdrawal page for an example of this layout.

We note the size of the game library, the named software providers, live casino suppliers and any sportsbook. We check which support channels exist and whether they are stated as available around the clock. We also look for responsible gambling tools such as spending limits, a dedicated page and links to support organisations.

When sources disagree

Operators sometimes show different figures on different pages. A homepage banner may differ from the bonus terms, for instance.

  1. Terms and conditions take priority over banners and promotional text.
  2. If two official pages conflict and the terms do not settle it, we state both figures and say so.
  3. We avoid choosing the more attractive number.
  4. Where a detail cannot be confirmed, we leave it out or label it as unconfirmed.

Please check the operator's current terms before you deposit, as they can change without notice.

How often pages are re-checked

Pages are reviewed again against the operator's documents on a regular schedule, and sooner if we notice a change in terms, limits or licence details. Each update means comparing the page with the sources again, not just changing a date.

If you spot something out of date, it may be that the operator changed it after our last check. Treat the operator's current terms as the final word.

What we do not do

  • We do not accept payment to change, hide or soften a fact.
  • We do not present figures we could not trace to a source.
  • We do not promise winnings or suggest gambling is a way to earn money.
  • We do not claim to have tested accounts, run payouts or interviewed staff unless a page says so.

This site is independent information, not the operator's own page. Gambling carries risk and should stay within a budget you can afford. If it stops being enjoyable, use the operator's limit tools or contact GambleAware.
